Our priority at Ark is you our customer, your safety as well as our own is important to us, together we can make our salon a safe and welcoming
environment to work in and have your hair experience.
July 19th will bring some further changes so we are updating the policy with that in mind
Hand washing and sanitising will still be available there will be soap and water and washing facilities available as well as hand sanitisers also available on every station, we encourage you to wash your hands and sanitise where ever possible still.
As you will know face masks are now not compulsory. But we ask you to act with care and responsibility when coming to the salon.
Some of our staff will have made their own decisions on mask wearing
and this will be based on personal reasons we would you please to respect this and also, we will be totally non-judgemental on your decision to carry on with mask wearing or not, that said as previously stated some staff may ask this of you for personal reasons.
Staff will still wear aprons and after each client gowns and towels are single use and being washed at 60 degrees still.
Individual station cleaning measures have relaxed slightly in comparison to the first opening back in July last year but still are in place
particularly high touch areas, lavatory etc.
We are now able to provide hot drinks and take jackets off you to hang up but we have decided not to have mags at the moment as these are high touch and
cannot be cleaned
If any of our staff are presenting with any symptoms of covid-19 this may result in cancellation of your appointment, whilst inconvenient we have done this for your own safety. The staff member will need to follow gov guidance.
Similarly, if you or anyone in your household are presenting with any symptoms, we ask you NOT to come to the salon and rearrange your appointment we will endeavour to fit you back in after.
On longer appointments, we may require a deposit beforehand of 20% of total service.
We are continuously taking advice from the government and the National Hairdressers Federation which we are members of.
Thank you for your patience and understanding we look forward to being of service to you all very soon.
